Celebrating 7 Years of Bringing Southwest Florida Seniors Together: Join Us for the 7th Annual Lee County Senior Expo This Saturday!
For the past six years, the Lee County Senior Expo has been more than just an event in Southwest Florida. It has become a special gathering place where seniors, families, local businesses, and community organizations come together to connect, learn, and celebrate the people who have helped shape our community. This Saturday, October 10, 2026, We Know Life & Health is proud to continue that tradition with the 7th Annual Lee County Senior Expo, bringing another exciting day of valuable resources, meaningful connections, entertainment, and community appreciation to Southwest Florida.
At We Know Life & Health, serving seniors has always been about more than helping people understand insurance or find the right coverage. It's about building relationships, listening to their stories, understanding their needs, and making sure they feel supported through every stage of life. Our seniors have spent decades raising families, building businesses, serving our country, and contributing to the communities we call home. We believe they deserve the same dedication, respect, and care in return, and that belief is at the heart of everything we do, especially when it comes to our annual Senior Expo.
The story behind this commitment began sixteen years ago, when Dale Earp and Rachel Earp started their company at their dining room table with a vision of making a meaningful difference in people's lives. What began as a shared dream grew into a mission centered on helping Seniors and Veterans navigate important decisions about their health, insurance, and future with confidence. They understood that people needed more than policies and paperwork. They needed someone they could trust, someone who would take the time to explain their options, answer their questions, and genuinely care about their well-being. Sixteen years later, that same personal commitment continues to guide We Know Life & Health and the way we serve our Southwest Florida community.
As the company grew, so did Dale and Rachel's vision for creating opportunities to serve people beyond the office. They wanted to bring together trusted local businesses, healthcare professionals, service providers, and organizations in one convenient place where seniors could discover resources, ask questions, and build connections without having to search for help on their own. That vision helped shape the Lee County Senior Expo, which has now been bringing people together for seven years. Each year, the event reflects the same values that inspired the company from the very beginning: compassion, education, connection, and a genuine desire to make life a little easier for the people we serve.

One of the things we love most about the Senior Expo is the opportunity to bring so many helpful resources together under one roof. Whether someone is exploring Medicare and health insurance options, looking for healthcare services, planning for retirement, or simply interested in discovering programs available in the community, the expo provides a welcoming environment to learn and connect. Attendees can meet businesses and organizations representing a variety of senior-focused services, including Medicare and health insurance, primary care, home healthcare, assisted living and senior living options, financial planning, legal services, wellness, and other community resources. Rather than spending hours researching different providers or trying to figure out where to begin, seniors and their families have the opportunity to speak directly with knowledgeable representatives, gather information, and discover services that may help them live healthier, safer, and more fulfilling lives.
But what makes our Senior Expo truly special is that it has never been just about information booths and business conversations. We want everyone who walks through the doors to feel welcomed, appreciated, and excited to be there. That's why we make room for the fun, too! Our Senior Expos have become known for bringing together valuable resources with food trucks, entertainment, door prizes, giveaways, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the day. We believe learning about important services should feel comfortable and enjoyable, and creating that kind of atmosphere allows attendees to connect with others, share a few laughs, and make wonderful memories along the way.
Over the years, one of the most rewarding parts of hosting these events has been seeing familiar faces return again and again. We've welcomed seniors who have attended previous expos and continue to come back because they genuinely enjoy the experience and the sense of community they find here. Some return to discover new resources, others look forward to reconnecting with local organizations, and many simply enjoy being part of a gathering where they feel valued. To us, those returning smiles mean everything. They remind us that the relationships we build matter and that people can feel the love, care, and effort that go into making each expo a memorable experience.
That sense of connection is especially meaningful in Southwest Florida, where our senior population plays such an important role in the community. From Fort Myers and Cape Coral to surrounding Lee County communities, seniors and veterans deserve access to trustworthy information and organizations that understand their unique needs. We know that navigating healthcare, Medicare, retirement planning, and other life decisions can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly when information is scattered across different providers. By bringing these resources together in one place, we hope to make those conversations easier, encourage informed decisions, and help families feel more confident about the next steps in their journey.
The Senior Expo is also an opportunity to celebrate the local businesses, vendors, sponsors, and community partners who share our passion for serving others. Their participation helps create an event where attendees can discover services they may not have known were available and build connections with people who are ready to help. Every conversation, every introduction, and every resource shared has the potential to make a positive difference in someone's life. We are grateful for the organizations that continue to support this mission and help us strengthen the connections between Southwest Florida seniors and the businesses that serve them.
This year's event is another exciting milestone in a journey that started sixteen years ago at Dale and Rachel Earp's dining room table. While the company and the Senior Expo have grown over time, the heart behind them remains the same. We still believe that people deserve to be treated like family, that education can empower better decisions, and that a strong community is built when people genuinely care for one another. For Dale, Rachel, and the entire We Know Life & Health team, the opportunity to give back to the seniors and veterans who have given so much to our community is something we never take for granted.
We're also excited that the upcoming expo has received attention from local media, helping more Southwest Florida residents learn about the event and the resources available to them. WGCU Public Media recently featured the upcoming October 10 Senior Expo, highlighting the opportunity for local seniors to connect with Medicare and insurance resources at this free community event. You can read the local news coverage here: Free Senior Expo for Medicare Insurance Coming Oct. 10 – WGCU Public Media. We're grateful to see the event reaching more people because every additional senior or family who learns about these resources is another opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

As we prepare to welcome everyone this Saturday, October 10, we invite seniors, veterans, caregivers, family members, and friends throughout Southwest Florida to join us for the 7th Annual Lee County Senior Expo. Whether you're looking for helpful information, exploring local services, hoping to meet new people, or simply wanting to enjoy a fun day filled with entertainment, food trucks, prizes, and giveaways, we would love to see you there. This event is about celebrating you, connecting you with resources that matter, and reminding you that you are an important and valued part of our community.
Local businesses and organizations that share our commitment to serving seniors are also encouraged to explore opportunities to participate as vendors or sponsors. Supporting the Senior Expo is a meaningful way to connect with the community, share valuable services, and contribute to an event that continues to bring people together year after year.

Seven years of Senior Expos and sixteen years of serving Seniors and Veterans have taught us something that will always remain at the center of our mission:
the greatest impact comes from making people feel seen, heard, supported, and cared for.
From a simple dining room table to a growing community tradition in Southwest Florida, Dale and Rachel Earp's vision continues to inspire everything we do. We are incredibly thankful for every senior who has attended, every veteran who has trusted us, every family who has shared their story, and every community partner who has helped make these events possible. We can't wait to welcome familiar faces, meet new friends, and celebrate another wonderful year together this Saturday.
From all of us at We Know Life & Health, thank you for allowing us to serve this incredible community. We look forward to seeing you at the 7th Annual Lee County Senior Expo!
